NutriPATH EndoMAP Hormone Test
What It Is
Australia's most advanced dried urine hormone panel. The EndoMAP goes far beyond standard blood or saliva hormone tests by measuring over 35 markers, including not just your hormone levels but how your body metabolises, converts and clears those hormones. It covers the four key hormone pathways (oestrogen, progesterone, androgen and glucocorticoid), along with cortisol patterns across the day, melatonin, endocrine disruptors, heavy metals and selected organic acids. All from a simple at-home urine collection.
What It Measures
Oestrogen Pathway
Estrone (E1), estradiol (E2), estriol (E3)
Phase 1 metabolites: 2-OH, 4-OH and 16a-OH oestrone
Methylation markers: 2-MeO and 4-MeO estrone and estradiol (reveal how well your body is detoxifying oestrogen)
Progesterone Pathway
Pregnanediol
Allopregnanolone
Allopregnanediol
Related metabolites
Androgen Pathway
Testosterone and epi-testosterone
DHEA and androstenedione
Androsterone and etiocholanolone
5a-DHT and 5a3a-androstanediol
Cortisol and Adrenal Function
Free cortisol and cortisone measured at four time points across the day (morning, midday, afternoon, evening)
Total cortisol and cortisone
Cortisol/cortisone ratio
Tetrahydrocortisol, tetrahydrocortisone
Corticosterone and deoxycorticosterone
Melatonin
Measured at four time points to assess your sleep hormone rhythm and night-time recovery capacity
Endocrine Disruptors and Heavy Metals
BPA (bisphenol A)
PFOA, PFOS
Aluminium, arsenic, cadmium, chromium
Lead, mercury, nickel
Organic Acid Markers
8-OHdG (oxidative stress)
Methylmalonate, pyroglutamate
Homovanillate, kynurenate, quinolinate, xanthurenate
B-hydroxyisovalerate, indican
These reveal detoxification capacity, nutrient needs, neurotransmitter metabolism and inflammatory load
Who This Is For
PMS, irregular or painful periods, PCOS
Perimenopause or menopause symptoms
Low libido, infertility or hormonal acne
Hair thinning, mood swings or anxiety
Sleep disturbance, chronic fatigue or brain fog
Weight resistance
Currently on hormone replacement therapy and needing precise monitoring
Suspected environmental toxin exposure affecting hormones
Why It Matters
Two people with identical blood hormone levels can feel completely different. The reason lies in metabolism. How your body breaks down, converts and eliminates hormones determines your symptoms just as much as the hormones themselves. If your body is pushing oestrogen down a problematic metabolic pathway, or converting too much cortisol to cortisone, or poorly methylating oestrogen metabolites, none of that will show up on a standard blood test. The EndoMAP shows the full cascade, giving us the precision needed to address root causes rather than just managing symptoms.
How It Works
Order through the Genesis Functional Health website
A collection kit will be mailed to your door with detailed instructions
Collect dried urine samples on filter paper strips at four intervals across a 24-hour period (morning, midday, afternoon and evening)
Once the strips are dry, return them in the provided packaging
For cycling women, the test is typically performed between days 19 and 22 of your cycle
Avoid hormone supplements for 48 hours prior to collection if possible (always discuss this with your practitioner first)
Results are usually available within 7 to 10 business days
A follow-up consultation is then booked to walk through your hormone map in detail and create a targeted treatment plan
